Here are links to some pages that I enjoy.

Some have proven extremely helpful!

This Month's Top 5
#1 The Hypertext Who - A wonderful source for all things Who-ish, even if the official site is now operating!

#2 Hyperrust Never Sleeps - THE definitive Neil Young page.  Someone, I suppose the webmaster, hs really put their heart and soul into this site.

#3 Cornflakes and Classics: The Musical History of Elton John- This is one of the best fan-developed resources about a particular artist. This guys has DONE his research! And it shows in some great timelines, set lists, images, etc.

#4 The Beatleg Project is now BootlegZone.com- Wow! A Beatle collector's delight. If you don't feel up for spending the $5 to join Harald Gerhardt's site, or are new to the Beatle collecting arena, this is an exhaustive database that is a mandatory bookmark.

#5 Americal - A real nice, reliable, online vendor who consistently has very good prices While not always THE cheapest, you can count on getting a good deal on blank tapes, jewel cases, etc.)

And now, some more eclectic, personal links!!

- My friend Kurt's page ... "Bad Music Central." It's mighty silly. I like it. I also contribute to it!

- She's the most meticulous person ever to be given a piece of the Internet ... and that's why I love her! My pal Kathy's all-encompassing Zak Starkey Website is just incredible.  If you don't know who Zak is, you missed the Who's awesome "Quadrophenia" tour of a few years ago. He's an incredible drummer ... and his dad was in a band too, actually. The page also has links to her great Simon Townshend site!

Jay Fink's website, has some great anecdotes about his adventures in underground radio. The particular page that the link goes to gives the details of my best buddy Bubba (Bob) Fink's debut on Jay's station! Bobby, indeed, looms large in the legend ... he's part of that "family" up in Connecticut that I don't get to see as much as I'd like to.

The Tape Traders Network. You can find some great tape swapping folks here. A very neat site!

- Do you want to find out whether or not a band you're interested in has taken their act on the road? Well Pollstar is a great site for out touring schedules. Not that we EVER seem to get a jump on the ticket scalpers anyway, but hey .... every little bit helps, right?!

- You do need to hear them to believe them ... but this is the link to Früvous Dot Com © -- The Official Moxy Fruvous Website. These guys helped keep me sane for a few years in the mid 90s. They're irreverent, intelligent, deep, silly ... and damn musical. I think they're great. Go here! Buy stuff! You'll thank me in the morning. Maybe you'll thank me late at night! Are you someone I would WANT thanking me late at night. Alright, stop thinking about that and go be a Fruhead!

- OK, so let's just call this page ... "Random Fandom" I've had a great time meeting some fun folks over the years, and here are some of the stories and photos that are the results of these "happy (well-planned!) accidents". By the way, this page connects, pretty directly, with my "musical bio page".

- So ... how about catching up with THE FARMDOGS! It's Bernie Taupin's latest musical adventure, and it's great stuff! And here's a link to my write-up of a Farmdogs live show from The Bottom Line. You can even get a look at the band!

- Okay ... so I'm a big Elton John fan. Well, in 1988 I had the pleasure of meeting Elton and Bernie , and here is the story of the crazy events surrounding that exciting evening.
